Demographic Challenge Chair International Chair in Trustworthy AI and the Demographic Challenge

This International Chair is aimed at providing solutions to the different problems associated with the Demographic Challenge through collaboration between universities, companies, research centres, European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), rural and local development agencies, as well as public administration bodies.

This action plan defines a set of coordinated activities in training, research in different areas of AI, experimental developments, dissemination, and scientific-business cooperation.

Objectives

The Chair in Trustworthy AI and the Demographic Challenge has the following specific objectives:

To establish, through the Chair, cooperation links between universities and international companies.
To provide advanced knowledge, at company-targeted training activities, on addressing the Demographic Challenge through Trustworthy AI.
To foster interdisciplinary research in the field of Trustworthy AI as a key tool in addressing the Demographic Challenge.

To create a new virtual Living Lab as a means of dynamising experimental developments in Trustworthy AI and the Demographic Challenge.
To disseminate the benefits of Trustworthy AI as a key tool in addressing the Demographic Challenge while protecting the users' rights.
